There are a TON of Milwaukee flooring companies in the metro Milwaukee area. So determining which company to go with can be a bit of a challenge. But before you start you search for a flooring company in Milwaukee, let us first figure out what it is that need. Just because a company describes themselves as a “flooring company” does not mean that they will be able to effectively do what you want them to. Here are some of the things that you may want to have done -

• New floor installation – maybe you have existing carpet with a sub-floor (or two or three sub-floors!) in which you want to replace with a new oak wood floor.  It could be a new house in which you want wood flooring installed. A flooring company that specializes in carpet installation probably is not going to be your best bet.  They may “say” that they will be able to install a new wood floor with no problem.  The end result however may be a sub par installation with a hefty bill!
• New carpet installation – There are some folks out there that may have an existing hardwood floor, but feel they want carpet over it.  Would you call a wood floor refinishing company to put a new carpet in?  I would hope not!  That may leave you with a poor carpet installation in addition to possibly damaging your existing hardwood floor!
• Refinishing hardwood floors – This is one that I see a lot.  JUST BECAUSE A COMPANY CAN DO NEW FLOOR INSTALLATIONS, DOES NOT MEAN THEY CAN REFINISH IT! Refinishing flooring is a whole different process than installing hardwood.  Yes, a lot of hardwood installers can refinish your existing floor, but not all Milwaukee flooring companies can do it.  Just be careful here!

You see, all Milwaukee flooring companies are not created equal.  I am not saying that they are all hacks, but they may have their specific functions that will not coincide with your needs.
